A three-day international conference on crimes of communist regimes attended by historians and legal experts will be held in Prague this week, its organisers say on their website. The upcoming conference will be attended, among others, by Joachim Gauck, former German government commissioner for the East German secret police Stasi's archives, former Lithuanian president Vytautas Landsbergis, Goeran Lindblad, head of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe's Political Affairs Committee, and Harry Wu, fighter against Chinese forced labour camps, who is to give an opening speech.
